After studying law at Cambridge University, Caroline has practised law for more than 30 years in the field of intellectual property in particular on matters relating to copyright and trade marks. Her early career was in London and later Leeds, where she acted for high-profile clients in both litigious and non-contentious matters.
For the last few years she has also worked as a music promoter and artist agent, and is a partner in a boutique music agency and independent record label based in Switzerland, giving her hands-on experience of the music business, its legal pitfalls and exactly what artists and professionals need from legal support.
Caroline advises on a broad range of intellectual property and music business agreements from label contracts to music publishing to recording contracts, as well as rights management. More widely she supports clients in the worlds of software development, data privacy, the gaming industry, video production and performance.
